Secure64, a Denver-based software startup, needed to secure its first round of funding in order to complete the development of its innovative operating system and to launch its first product.

Results:
The agency broke the news in a negotiated exclusive in the Wall Street Journal. In addition, the agency garnered interviews and additional coverage in CNET, InformationWeek, Venture Wire, The Deal, Network World, IT Weekly, InfoWorld, eWeek, Register.com, and ZDNet resulting in more than 4 million impressions. A 1000 word company profile appeared later in the Denver Post which was based on this announcement. More importantly, Secure64 received phone calls from nine venture capital firms the first day the story appeared.

Trippe & Company has continued managing communications for the software company. In May of 2008, Secure64 announced that it had received a grant from The United States Department of Homeland Security. The new release and media relations surrounding this announcement netted 36 million impressions.
